Koloc Point
Koloc Point () is an ice-covered point marking the northern extremity of Bear Peninsula, Walgreen Coast, Marie Byrd Land, Antarctica. The point was first mapped by the United States Geological Survey from air photos obtained by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump in January 1947. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after Lieutenant Commander Bohumil Koloc, Jr., U.S. Navy, a helicopter pilot during U.S. Navy Operation Deep Freeze 1966 and 1967.〔 ==References==
